I always wanted to do something new but never came around it. Then *diamondie invited me to her ASCII Art contest and I took as a kick in my butt 
An Oberth class ship from the series Enterprise was picked, because I used to play Space Trek: The New Empire quite some time. It is too time consuming for me to play on, but this deviation is dedicated to a dear friend I met there. I hope at least he likes it and I won't get flamed by detail seeking trekkies

Ooh, cool piece. I like the way you've done the lines, even though the equal signs ( look a bit odd IMO. The picture looks a bit messy on the top left side, but maybe it's just because I've never seen a rendition of such a ship.
